Kenneth J. Falcon is the managing partner of Falcon, Jacobson & Gertler LLP. Mr. Falcon’s practice focuses on Real Estate, Trusts and Estates, and Intellectual Property matters. Mr. Falcon represents a variety of clients – from every day individuals to large corporations and development firms.
Mr. Falcon graduated from Union College and Georgetown University Law Center, cum laude. He began his career as a judicial intern in the Eastern District of New York. Upon graduation from law school, he learned the art of the practice of law from some of Nassau County’s most esteemed solo practitioners, until finally entering into a partnership with Myron G. Jacobson – the first step the the formation of Falcon, Jacobson & Gertler LLP. Mr. Falcon lives on Long Island with his wife and two-year-old son.
Rachael A. Harding heads the firm’s Campaign Compliance Practice. She focuses her practice on advising clients on compliance with the complex state and local New York City laws that govern political activity, and provides political compliance counsel to corporations, nonprofit organizations, political parties, political committees, candidates and advocacy groups.
Rachael also specializes in the areas of Trusts and Estates law and Litigation. She prepares wills and trusts that help clients avoid probate, appoint guardians for their minor children, and to protect the assets from creditors. Rachael handles the post-death administration and distribution of her clients’ estates and trusts and represents beneficiaries, trustees and other interested parties in all trusts and estate matters. Rachael is a Guardian Ad Litem, appointed by the Court to advocate for infants or unknown heirs.
Prior to joining the firm, Rachael was the Director of Compliance and Budget on a New York City Mayoral campaign and was also an Assistant District Attorney in Richmond County. While in law school, Rachael interned for the Honorable Paul A. Crotty of The Southern District of New York and was in her school’s Criminal Justice Clinic.
Rachael is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center (L’11) and Georgetown University (C’08). She is admitted to practice in New York State.
Rachael is a member of the New York State Bar Association and is a member of the CaringKind- the Heart of Alzheimer’s Caregiving Junior Committee.
Paul M. O’Brien is an associate with Falcon, Jacobson & Gertler LLP focusing his practice in the areas of General Commercial Litigation and Intellectual Property matters. Paul represents artists and entrepreneurs in both transactional and litigation matters, including negotiating licenses and agreements, managing intellectual property portfolios, and copyright and trademark infringement litigations.
Prior to joining the firm, Paul graduated from the University of Delaware and achieved his juris doctor at Brooklyn Law School, where he studied intellectual property, media, and information law. Paul was a member of Brooklyn Law School’s Moot Court Honor Society and gained valuable experience interning with the legal departments of major corporations and prominent entertainment law firms.
Paul is licensed to practice in the state of New York, the SDNY, EDNY and New Jersey.
